PARALLEL-LINKAGE DESIGN
The eeSilk is based off of our proven parallel linkage technology found in our legendary Thudbuster suspension seatposts.
Parallel Linkage technology stays in the direct path of the natural travel of the rear wheel. As a bump lifts the back of a bicycle, the rear wheel pushes up and forward into the rider. The eeSilk works by compressing along the exact opposite path — down and rearward — absorbing force at the same rate.
EASY ELASTOMER CHANGE
The eeSilk seatpost can be tuned for different rider weights and riding styles by selecting the elastomer that best fits rider needs and performance preferences.
The eeSilk seatpost is shipped with a #5 elastomer installed. #1, #3, #7, and #9 elastomers are sold separately.

Maintenance:
Occasionally check the torque of the 4mm axle bolt to make sure the axle nut and axle bolt are not loose. Additionally, the pivot axles could be periodically lubricated with a light oil. NOTICE - eeSilk seatposts are designed to absorb small bumps only. You should still stand up when encountering large obstacles on the road or trail.
Warranty Information:
Limited ONE (1) Year Warranty on Cane Creek eeSilk
eeSilk seatposts are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original owner only. At their discretion, Cane Creek Cycling Components will repair or replace any defective seatpost with the same or comparable model. This warranty is void if the seatpost is damaged as a result of abuse, alterations, modifications, improper adjustment, lack of maintenance, crashes, or other conditions judged by Cane Creek Cycling Components to be abnormal, excessive, or improper. It is mandatory that a Return Authorization Number (RA#) is received (by calling or emailing Cane Creek) before any return is made. Additionally a dated Proof of Purchase must accompany the seatpost when returned.
